As of this writing, 2 people have correctly guessed the link, which is that each shot has a librarian in it. Yep, in Something Wicked this Way Comes, Jason Robards Jr. is a librarian, as is Ann Robinson in the original The War of the Worlds. With respect to It's a Wonderful Life, George Bailey gets to see what his wife (Donna Reed) becomes if he is not in her life, and so in the shot she is a librarian. And, of course, The Music Man is kissing - who else? - Marian the Librarian!
