Thanks to Steve J. for an excellent Guest Quiz. Here's what he had to say:

Thanks for playing everyone! I knew some of the shots might be tough, but I thought the connections might lead people to them.

The connection for shots B and D (Working Girl and Six Days Seven Nights) is that both shots feature Harrison Ford popping his cheek. I’ve always thought it was odd that he did the same action in two films, so that’s why I used them. Melanie Griffith is in the Working Girl shot, but she’s almost entirely hidden by the bride. The Six Days Seven Nights shot is Ford and Anne Heche stranded on an island. She asks him if he’s the kind of guy who can build a shopping mall with a pocket knife and a Q-tip. He says, “No. No, I can’t do that. But I can do this! POP Does that help?”

The connection between Shots A & C (Choke and Fight Club) is that both movies are based on books written by Chuck Palahniuk. That’s certainly harder than Ford being cheeky. The Choke shot is Sam Rockwell having sex with a woman on a bathroom floor. To keep from finishing too quickly, he thinks about baseball, and the image of baseball players appears on the woman’s back. The Fight Club shot is during the montage of mayhem. The space monkeys replace the typical airline safety cards with this version.

I hope to host another quiz in the future, but I think the Captain just gained a lot of ground on me this week.

This week there were 13 participants, with 12 getting at least one answer right. Congratulations to our 2 PhDs this week - Agrajag and Captain Video.

Look down about 100 pixels from here to check the weekly scoreboard. Thanks to all for playing, and congratulations to all who guessed correctly!
