Much thanks to Captain Video for an excellent Guest Quiz. Here's his wrap-up:

The link is that all of the actors featured in the shots (going from A to D - George Sanders, Walter Slezak, Gig Young, and Richard Farnsworth) sadly committed suicide. An unusual link to be sure, but as of this writing, at least two of you got it, so it wasn't impossible! I thought that the most recognizable shots were Sanders and Young, who both won supporting actor Oscars for their roles and thus would falsely lead people to pursue that as the link (pointing people down the wrong road is a solemn duty of an EQ, yes?). I also thought that in that one frame, Sanders sort of looked like John Wayne (John Wayne with a fur collar and a cigarette holder! What a wrong road that would be!).

All in all, I expected that a number of players would get Shots A, C, and D (in which even the back of Richard Farnsworth "looks like" Richard Farnsworth), but that Shot B and the link would be hard, and that's about how it turned out.

I also have to congratulate Funnymeisters Steve and Gopan: I thought (after the quiz went up) that the shots unfortunately did not lend themselves well to funnies, but that didn't stop these guys from coming up with some great ones!
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed it, and thanks for playing!

This week there were 14 participants, with 13 getting at least one answer right. Congratulations to our sole PhD - Steve J on an excellent job. He also nailed the bonus, along with TW.

Look down about 100 pixels from here to check the weekly scoreboard. Thanks to all for playing, and congratulations to all who guessed correctly!
