I am writing this before I know how folks did, but I predicted at least 3 PHD's to Gopan, so I hope I'm right! In reverse order of toughness (to me): Shot D is when Bubba's Mother open's Forrest's letter containing Bubba's share of the profits; Shot C is Eleanor of Aquitaine's boat in the moonlight (I thought that a shot of her sitting on her throne in the boat being rowed would be a giveaway); Shot B is when the Jane Fonda character discovers that Julia had indeed lost her leg, and Shot A is when all the boy's from "Boy's Town" leave their bunks and march across seemingly endless fields and roads to rescue Mickey Rooney (I thought it would be fun to make "Boy's Town" look like a zombie movie).

The "link," however, is what made me pick these movies. Each movie has an actor or actress who won an Oscar for the second consecutive year in a row (Tracy in "Boy's Town," following "Captains Courageous," Hepburn in "The Lion in Winter," following "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner," Hanks in "Forrest Gump," following "Philadelphia," and Jason Robards Jr. for his supporting role in "Julia," following his supporting role in "All the President's Men." This has only happened in these four films and one other (Luise Rainer in "The Great Ziegfeld" and "The Good Earth" in 1936-37), so the link was unique.

For all that did, thanks for playing!

This week there were 13 participants, with 7 getting at least one answer right. No Docs this week. Agrajag came really close to guessing the link and ends up topping the board.

Look down about 100 pixels from here to check the weekly scoreboard. Thanks to all for playing, and congratulations to all who guessed correctly!
